COSI = Cosi?

You really can't take my brother anywhere. My mom said we were going to COSI for the afternoon and JC got very excited. He said he had just read about that restaurant in his book "Eat this Not that...Toddler Edition". When we got there he immediately began to eat...

After a few minutes, JC moaned that eating on his stomach gave him indigestion and so he asked to be put in an upright chair of some sort. He quickly began to eat again....

Frustrated at having to constantly guard my brother to prevent him from eating something unsavory, I tried to explain to him that this was a different type of Cosi. He thought about it for a second...

Then he pointed out the kid next to him who also was mouthing everything in sight. JC felt better that he was in the majority.

Eventually, he became somewhat full and I was able to enjoy the many activities at our Science Museum while he took his post-feast nap. I'm driving the ambulance!

I am 9 Months

Hola Amigos. I turned nine months just a few days ago while Gram and Pops were in town. Here is the first shot that Gram took to celebrate the occasion. You can see I was in the midst of saying something important.

What did I say? I requested the presence of my sister. She just turned 29.5 months old so she deserves a space here too. Notice she has her own measuring stick/lamb!

Thanks for visiting Gram and Pops!

Valentine's Day!!

Zounds! I, M, was looking out the window today when I saw this! A rainbow!!!

I quickly grabbed my dad and we went out into the driving wind storm (note my hair) to find out what is at the end of the rainbow...
It turns out that the rainbow ended in the White Castle's parking lot on the hood of a Fed-Ex truck. But the rainbow didn't lie because the Fed-Ex driver did, indeed, have a package for us. We dragged it home and when we opened it we found a stuffed doggie and a package of Kisses for JC.

There was also a stuffed bear and another package of Kisses for me too!!

In addition, there was this sweet pink jacket and some awesome boots. The boots have Ariel on them!

Uh-oh! Running around in the rain storm gave me a chill. If only I had received my pink jacket and boots and Vitamin C rich Kisses BEFORE I went chasing the end of the rainbow. Thankfully, though, I was able to celebrate my cold in a truly holiday-rific fashion by using this blanket seen below...

Thank you Great Grandma C and Grandma E!!!!

Double Your Fun

My brother JC is getting older. Earlier this week he pulled himself out of his bassinet leading to a 3.5 foot free fall. My parents, ever chintzy, decided that he should join me in the crib. My dad says twins sleep in the same crib all the time. After fifteen minutes does it look like we are asleep?

What about after an hour....?

In addition to sharing my crib, now that my brother moves around so well he follows me into all my hangout spots. One of my favorite spots is under our couch. Here JC crawls out from our hiding place.

Why did he crawl out? After not getting my nap I was cranky and not in a sharing mood. So I kind of pushed him out.

Sorry!
