M Makes Christmas Cookies

Excitement! Gram and Aunt JKC have asked me if I want to make Christmas cookies. My response? "Yes as long as I can wear THAT apron!"

Here Aunt JKC helps me lay out the cookies on the baking sheet.

Here Gram monitors my frosting of the cookies.

Finally I get to taste them! Cookies are better when you get to decorate them yourself!

7 months

I turned seven months on Sunday. Here is a picture of me with Lambo.

My momma told me to envision a Ding-Dong.

JC's first Thanksgiving

Oh! Hello there! What's that you say? You would like to hear about JC's first thanksgiving? Did he eat the whole turkey? Let me finish my magazine and I will be right back to you...
The day started off reasonably well. Knowing the odds I was up against, my mother gave me a new bib commemorating the day.
Then the referees performed the weigh-in. I came in at 11 lbs while the turkey came in at 22 lbs. The weight difference, according to the experts will be nullified by my reach since the turkey's "arms" are tied together.
Despite the advantage in my reach, her bulk was too much for me. Within a few minutes I was on the mat having eaten only a tad more than my body weight. Knowing I wouldn't get up (I can't stand or walk yet), I played with my new toy car while the referee performed the ten count.

I may have been defeated in my first match, but my GGma doesn't care. Here she carries me from the ring like a champion.

Next year, I will eat the whole turkey.

Raking Leaves

Gram is so smart. She invented this game to pass the time while raking. It involves jumping into piles of leaves. Here Gram dived into a pile in an attempt to show me that this activity was fun and safe.
Well, maybe if Gram can do it, I can too! Hmm...this lacked something.

Ah yes! Jumping into leaves is fun. But body-slamming is more fun. Look at the stunned look from my dad!

I turned six months a month ago!

Here is my delayed six month picture. I had cute toes. This picture is from before our thanksgiving meal, so I am much bigger now and my toes are hidden from me.

My mom took pictures of us in our Christmas pajamas. This is old hat for my sister, M. After looking at the proofs, she said that I have a lot to learn when it comes to posing for pictures. She's a master!
