Our Gram came to visit our new baby. S, though, slept mostly thereby freeing Gram up to spend time with us old hands, M and JC. We decided to go to start looking for a new house to make room for our new baby sister. We decided to look in the Bandelier National Monument for a new place. This one was close to the road, but was a fixer-upper.
We decided to look along the canyon wall because of the marvelous views. Here JC climbs up to the one bedroom studio.
It turned out to be too small. Look at how squished we are...
Gram found a better place down the street with three bedrooms. The master bedroom had a balcony...look!
We searched and searched. Here JC looks at the high-rises...
Everything was too small or too expensive. What to do? Then Gram had an idea - she found a place under a bridge that crossed the small stream running through the main ravine. It had plenty of room. Here we posing on top of our new place...
Lo and behold the property was not for sale. The troll who lived there returned and chased us away. Run JC run!
Well I guess our place will have to do for right now!

Ice Skating
Aunt K came to visit new baby S. She also spent a lot of time playing with us. Due to my parents' deficiencies, she was selected to share this "first" with me...
While I was being Little Miss Skater, my brother, JC, was being...

The baby sleeps a lot...
Our new baby sister, S, seemingly sleeps all the time. What do we do while she sleeps? Mostly things like this...

S's first day!
My first day began at 1:36 AM, about an hour after this shot. Doesn't my momma look wonderful, all things considered?
I was awake for about an hour and a half before I took my first nap - and these pictures show what happened. Here I am a few minutes after birth. My mom was so excited to see me that she cried big tears of joy!
They weighed me in at 8.41 lbs and 19" long...and two weeks early. My mom is happy that I came when I did! The nurses could not believe my size, full-term babies usually top out at 7 lbs here at the highest altitude hospital in the country!
Then I got my first bath. This might be the last time I don't cry when I have my hair washed!
Here is my hair color. It's a blond-brown like my dad. Unlike my dad, it's wavy!
My eyes opened for a few minutes today, but no camera could catch their blueness. Here I am at 3 AM getting ready for bed - my dad's first good night kiss!

Surprise!
That last post was a jinx! Late last night B's water broke and, two hours later, we had a new baby girl! New baby S weighed in at 8.4 lbs and 19". Mom and baby are healthy and happy. Here is a photo of our new miracle...

One week to go....
The countdown has begun and only seven days are remaining. B is beautiful but ready for D-day!
She is, though, going to miss her third hand!
